Please be advised this is a PRIVATE PRACTICE and patient consultations charges are at the discretion of the doctor. Bulk billing is only available for children aged 16 and under. Each Doctor is an individual practitioner and sets their own consultation fees. Please confirm with the Receptionist what the individual doctors private fee will be, at the time the appointment is made. Payment is required on the day of the consultation.

If you are experiencing financial difficulty please discuss with your doctor.

Consultations are normally arranged by appointment with exception for our Express lane clinic which is a sit and wait to see any available Doctor. (Please note patients cannot request a doctor of their choice in the Express Lane Clinic). This clinic is dependent on GP availability.

 

Longer appointments are available please discuss with the receptionist at the time of booking to ensure you have adequate time allocated for your consultation. This includes medical, RTA, disability, Centre link forms and other issues. 

Urgent cases will be directed to the Emergency Department at the Cowra Hospital.  

For continuity of care with your Doctor of choice, we recommend making advanced bookings before leaving the practice.​

Every effort will be made to accommodate an appointment with the Doctor of your choice where possible.

Express Lane

We run an express lane each morning Monday-Saturday 8am 10am which requires patients to present to the surgery each morning at 8am when the doors open to sit and wait for an available Doctor. (please note depending on GP's availability )

Home Visits​

Home visits are provided when deemed appropriate by the doctor. This is at the Doctors discretion. Please discuss with the receptionist at the time of booking.

Please note: Medicare rules state that a patient must have had a Face to Face consultation with a Doctor within our practice in the last 12 months & they will require to sign a consent form which is located at the front desk of the practice or on our website in the "Resources tab"
