Changes to the National Immunisation Program :

​

• Patients 65 years and over are no longer eligible for a free Pneumovax 
   

• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients aged 70 years and over are eligible to receive x1 pneumcoccal vaccination.
   

• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients aged 50 years and over are eligible for x1 Prevenar 13 vaccination, followed by a a second vaccination (Pneumovax 23) 2-12 months later, and a boost dose 5 years later (pneumovax 23)
   

• Patients 70 year and over are now eligible for Prevenar 13 Vaccination.

Flu Vaccinations:

​

Private & Free flu vaccinations are available at the practice.

​

For Private flu vaccinations, $20 is payable to the practice prior to receiving the vaccination.

Patients Eligible for a free flu vaccinations

• Patients aged 65 and over 

• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients aged 12 years and over

• Pregnant Women

• All patients aged 12 years and over with a Diagnosed / Documented Chronic Disease (as per government guidelines).
